Voting - E-System Users 2009 End Of Year Challenge

The Idea: A great opportunity to share our best photos of the year, and because the theme and time span are so wide, the quality should be very high!

In brief: Choose your best three images, any theme or style taken by you on an E-series camera between 1st January 2009 and 31st December 2009 and send it in!

PrizeHow to vote:

1. All registered members of the e-group forum may vote, including those who submit entries. Those who submit entries may vote for their own photo but are expected to allot their choices fairly on perceived merit.
2. Voters should list their three choices in order of preference, by code number shown in Gallery text and title to avoid confusion.
3. Points will be allocated as follows: three to first choice, two to second choice, one to third choice.
4. Please send your votes to me jonesgj using the Private Message system.
5. This competition is just for fun and by entering or voting you accept to abide by the spirit of this competition and acknowledge that the decision of the judge (me ) is final.
6. Votes will be accepted from now up to midnight on the 31st January 2010. Results will be announced soon after.

Well I've looked through the photos, and looked again... its going to be so very difficult to pick 3!
Theres a great selection of styles and photos there, well done everyone!

It would be difficult to single out 30 never mind 3!

However, I think I've made my choice from a very long shortlist and hope to vote later, subject to one last review of my choices.

No tricks - some are. However they have the same titles so there shouldn't be any big issue or confusion!

Okay you guys noticed the duplicates! ..... It took absolutetly ages to load 90 shots into the gallery late last night and just when I was getting the hang of it (and yes I may have had a teensy weensy sip of red wine) BAM! I uploaded a few, well somewhere. When I eventually recovered them, by 'copying' back to the correct gallery, I couldnt make the duplicates disappear.... I did make sure it wouldnt advantage/disadvantage and went to bed; I had to get up early to get stuck on a train on the east coast line!

I hope nobody minds me leaving the duplicates for now ... I'm not up to facing that gallery again, just yet ... maybe the admin boys, John or Ian might be able to help, at least until I have my strength back, or have another bottle of wine to hand

Anyway .... Votes are coming in and yes, it's a difficult one.

Just starting to look and I thought that a reminder from when we had the last big competition is that if you add the pictures on your personal shortlists to your favorites it allows you to create a cut-down selection for yourself to look through and it also gives some pleasant feedback to people who may not be in your top 3, but maybe made your top 10

You don't need to, but it's nice

This is really hard (but enjoyable) work. Easy to pick 89, 88 and 87, they're mine. The first 3 is awfully difficult as they are all so good. I've got it down to my best 26 now and need a rest. Carry on tomorrow.
