Looks fine to me, though I might be tempted to remove some of that upper background detail.

And change the subject to a feline

Chevvy, the fractilas makes the image like a colour drawing,,,,,still nice but I think the original is too good to need any other processing. (just my opinion lol)

That's a really nice picture, the lighting looks really good.

I want to play with light trails, but the kids are upstairs doing their homework.

Chevvy - I think that No1 is one of the best photos you have ever taken of Mr HH. It is gorgeous and his personality shines through.

They are both great Chevvy, lovely character shot in No#1 destined for the wall no doubt and No#2 is just a bit of fun. Although if you just took a head and shoulders crop of it and darkened the background ever so slightly I think it would look fantastic. See Strictly and X factor are useful after all

The first one is a cracking portrait. The light is so natural - far better than any flash or studio lights could give.

Lyn, Thanks praise indeed from a feline lover Trust your well ? and recovered from your extra long journey and I am looking forward to seeing more of your images

Phill and Stephen, I am going to crop the head and shoulders of the first image and ; darken the background (get rid of the 'stuff in the background' ) maybe tonight ... if I dont pass out asleep on the sofa ... I made up and packed 12 boxes of "stuff" today ARGHHH

                            Thanks for your constructive comments

Very obedient Huggy Henry. I never got mine to sit long enough for a 1/100s shot.
