  • Monochrome trials

    it was such a wet, grey day when we visited the Slate Museum in Llanberis recently, that I thought I'd convert some photos to monochrome.


    As I didn't have a tripod they are a little soft perhaps, but I liked the feel of the old machinery


    These wheels were just great.


    I thought that sepia looked good too.

    Lenses: 12-60, 50-200, Panny 100-400, 9-18, ZD 50mm, 14-54 Mk1, 70-300, 40-150, 14-42, OM 50mm F3.5 macro
    Also: EC14, EX25, FS35, Vanguard tripod, and far too many bags!

    I realy do like B&W photography, especially when the subject suits it and all three of yours for me do. Particularly No 1 one which really has a period feel to it, i half expect to see brunel there.

      Three nice shots B&W works well No.1 for me also.
