  • The Coal-Scuttle

In my search for interesting architecture I came up with this 1950's church in the far west of Amsterdam. It's name is Opstandingsdkerk but is known locally by its nickname of the coal-scuttle.

Shame it wasn't open as the light is supposed to be very good inside.

It's a very unusual looking church. Some parts of it remind me of Liverpool RC Cathedral which is quite amazing inside.
