  • Grab shot with 400mm

    My 1st Painted lady at 8.20p.m. last night.Hoping to get a Little Owl with the135-400 when it landed too close to focus.Had to back off as it flapped and settled down.Took a couple of quick shots (luckily the AF worked..for once)and went for the Sigma 105 but as I moved in it was off.Originally the Barbed wire was at the bottom so flipped it round to look a bit better.

    Nice shot and some lovely colours.

    Yes - the 135-400 combination is quite capable of macro
