    Wet day in Llanelli

Learning a technique or two in Photoshop. The plate was photo'd in the Parc Howard Museum, and is a Llanelli Cockerel...……….

That's what one does on a wet day. The camera gear might be weather proof, but I know I'm not.

    A nice capture Mark.

I think that the plate should be hung with the grass level, ignoring the writing!

Yes I did try that, but in the end decided the writing just had to on top. Its always an uphill struggle in Llanelli.....

As you were "Learning a technique or two in Photoshop", you could always cut and move the writing!

It might be easier to select the centre or the plate, and rotate the selection.

You were right there, rotated cockerels proved easy to manipulate

That looks much better. I don't know why the maker of the plate made the writing offset in the first place. It just looks weird.

IMO your opening version is the more dynamic composition.
The second version reduces the tension between the two cocks.
I like the way you've layered the plate over the rainy window pane.

What "dynamic" as in everything sliding downhill to the right?
