  • Greek Salad!

Context is all important in an image. I've always said that. "Take a picture of a cat on holiday and it's just a picture of a cat. Take a picture of a cat with the Acropolis in the background and that's a whole different thing".

So. We just went to Greece for ten days. And we went to the Acropolis - but alas I couldn't get a cat to cooperate. This is apparently common with cats.

Anyway, elsewhere I found an amphitheatre - so here you go.

Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

We also visited some mountain top monasteries. They are just fantastic - if a bit over subscribed tourist wise. Here's a three shot pano at Meteora.

    Anyway. Here are some ex-monks.

And a view of the rocks.

"These rocks look awfully dangerous. How often do people fall off them?"
    "Generally only once"

Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

      And here's a tourist shot.

The site of Delphi. As featured in St Paul's letter to the Delphiniums.
