  • A walk along the canal

    A leisurely stroll along the canal today in the sunshine and heat potted various scenes which I think are worth posting.

    Squirrel with prize


    Sleeping Heron


    Heron wakes


    Bream


    Bridge reflection

    E-M1X + 40-150 lens + 2X converter - A.mode various settings

    .
    Just like that - gone in a flash! Now in use.

    I know 3 has the bettershot of the Heron but i preffer the second one with it in a nice setting.

      Nice.
      I've always liked canals for some reason. Used to fish them when I was young, maybe that's it. They always seemed peaceful and calm places.

        Lovely photos Barr1e, canals are so good to attract w2ildlife, including fishermen and their catch......
