  • Edinburgh Street Candids

A wee walk down the High Street in Edinburgh after an appointment. So busy and difficult to get nice clean shots which I generally prefer. With all the closes off the High Street there is always the chance of a quiet moment or two and some simplicity away from the chaos of the Festival. I usually use the 17mm F1.8 but had a go with the excellent 45mm F1.8 today and the majority of the shots I like were at the longer focal length. Must try the 25mm as that will likely suit my eye best.

I'm the same. I like 1 for the fact I knew the guy would look round as he saw me as he turned his head previously. I'm very new to street photography so predicting what folk are going to do is a useful skill to build.
