          Looks a bit grainy to me Huw...………...

          Lovely photo. Used to train (Army survey) at Inkpen in the late 60's...…………...

                  (It's mono anyway - yellow! But perhaps you mean black and white, rather than yellow and white.)

                    So what you are saying that it doesn't work at all then in colour (mono) or black and white (mono)?

                          A nice capture, full of golden hues and very natural.
                          Corn is meant to be golden, not black, converting to B&W would do it an injustice.... IMHO, of course.
