  • More Barn Owls

One evening a couple of weeks ago I went out to see if I could find some more Barn Owls. After quite a wait one appeared briefly for about five minutes before disappearing behind a tree. It was rather distant and spent most of the time flying away from me but I managed to get one or two shots where it was pointing in the right direction. As is often the case with owls, it was quite late and the light was not good so there is plenty of noise.

    E-M1 II, 300mm f4 and MC-14.

Many thanks for the kind comment and all the 'likes'.

I wasn't very happy with the processing of these shots, so I have reworked them without pushing the shadows so much. Hopefully they look a bit better now.
