          Nice images.

          I have to say that, in our garden,the title goes to Robins, with Dunnocks runners-up. We have Wrens but they keep low and earn their English nickname Mouse Bird.

            Lovely photos.

            It isn't until you see the birds in this much detail that you realise they are more colourful than the moniker LBJ would suggest.

              Many thanks for the kind comments and 'likes'. Willom, the Wren would have looked much more colourful if it hadn't chosen to land in a shady spot. I shouldn't complain, though, it was nice to get a close view of one.

                Cute little fellow isn't it, curiously shaped like a flying rum ball - not very aerodynamic I suppose!

                  Yes they are notorious so and so's for trying to get close to. A few years ago I made it my challenge for the year to get a decent close up of one. I finally manged it last year.
