Tim,great, and given it's due for the chop I hope you took a lot more. All too often we see stuff which we should shoot and don't get around to it, so loose the historical record.

But we got released on a ticket and learnt to play cricket,
And before leaving blighty and the big city squash,
Some Pt Isaac cons had learnt how to whitewash.

I did! Despite my hands being frozen. Did not appear to impact on the EM1 MK2 though.

Here are a few more. A scary but very interesting place!! Most, but not quite all of the graffiti has been removed. Plus I was amazed at the kind of tools inmates could access in the engineering workshop.

Might help the inmates to engineer their way out of their predicament!

Have you ever seen the prison in Beaumaris? Still has its treadmill and crank. Just the job for some I can think of!

Tim, Thanks for the new shots. Even greater shame that the place is due for destruction. Looks a more interesting site than say Perth (AUS) or even Alcatraz. Both tourist magnets. Guess the local councillors should probably be inmates, they are certainly not Custodians. How many homes for the happy will be built? - Or may be, G forbid, a Retail Park??
