  • Cumbrian weather

Here are a few shots from yesterday. After I got up off night shift I went to the harbour to shoot some waves.

There was a guy fishing on the end of that pier when I took these.

Then after a short trip home for a cuppa I went to Buttermere and was caught in this squall

I should be out now as the weather is amazing

Was he still whole when you left, Alf ?

I presume you have snow today?
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

David I saw him walk off later he was not a young guy though. It was not that bad really those waves are not that big. I played on there in my early teens in weather like that. I saw him later as he left.

      Some snow but more hailstones.

No 1 for me, fantastic clouds and the rainbow is a real bonus.

          What John said.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

Same here. Great light and shade contrast in #1.

I like number 2 the best, except the rainbow in number 1 trumps it (no Russians involved in my decision).

If the sun had still been out for the second I would have been happier but that big cloud covered it up.

It didn't stand much chance against that cloud!
