  • River Findhorn and Loch of Blairs

Fortunately SWMBO had a last minute change of plan that gave me the opportunity to meet up with Steve (Stoates) on his planned visit to the River Findhorn by Randolph's Leap. We spent a good while at the river before heading to Loch of Blairs in the hope of some sunset action.

    1. River Findhorn:

    2. Steve has a phrase for this kind of photo manipulation - not repeatable here:

    3. I then became fixated on this arrangement of leaves and a feather:

    4.

    5.

    6. The boat house at Loch of Blairs has seen better times:

    7.

    8. The light was fading by the time this pair of signets caught our attention:

    9. We hung around for the sunset but nothing much happened in the way of colour (in the sky):

All in all an enjoyable day out

    Thanks for looking
    Iain

    Cracking series of shots Iain.

It looks like you're seeing some stunning Autumn colours up there.

I love your arty shots, especially the feather.

        Stunning set of photos Iain.

No.1 really stands out for me closely followed by No.4, beautiful tones / trxtures and colours.
