These are some of the vintage cars from our day at Toddington, some superb machines.

The last two images are shots of "Er indoors, indoors outside"............

More great pictures, Ian. I have a soft spot for the 3 wheeler Mog.

            Re: Vintage cars

            Thanks Eva & John,

There were not quite as many cars as I was expecting but the ones that were there were in superb condition.

The Morgan 3 wheeler I have ssen before, I did not realise it was that popular that they made a new version around 2000 - I did like the eyes on it and that engine makes it look brutal.

Austin Healey 3000 is the one for me as well. Classic car. Had a mate who used to race one.

AH 3000 250 miles to the quart, and it used petrol too!

I had a friend who had one and when he crashed it the shares in BP fell. It used a LOT of oil!

Lovely, evocative shots Ian. I can almost smell the leather and car polish.

                    Re: Vintage cars

                    Thanks folks,

The smell of leather, polish and unleaded was very nostalgic and there was a lot of love and attention afforded these.

The Austin Healey 3000 in the first shot was immaculate and from what I can gather all genuine parts, stunning paint job as well.

                        Hi Chevvy,

Thanks for the nice comments, we do not do Goodwood as it always conflicts with something else Sheila does, don't ask me what, I am just the humper & dumper and part time documentary photographer!

I like all of these but the one that really captures my attention is the first - the Austin Healy. I really like the way its been taken and there's a harmony about the colours.

                            Thanks,

The colour of the Austin Healey was what attracted me to this car, it was also in stunning condition.
