  • Focus Stacking

My new 60mm Macro (M4/3) arrived yesterday which I bough from Mike_J on here. Weather was awful today & couldn't got out far so I thought I would try the lens out at home using a 15 image focus stacking in PS CC. I'm happy with the lens & the result.

That is beautiful Peter. Did you hand hold the camera, use a tripod or some kind of tracking system to capture the images?

That's nice, Peter. I'm just starting to experiment with focus stacking on landscape shots.

              Re: Focus Stacking

I used a tripod & used Focus Peaking to make sure I didn't have any gaps. I didn't use a tracking system

Is there any point in focus stacking landscapes, Stephen - DOF is rarely a problem?

Gorgeous photo and so sharp. I really need to try focus stacking, it is on my list of techniques to learn.
