    Thistles

    Not many birds around today, instead I turned the SW 600mm scope towards these thistles in various degrees of bloom/decay. The depth of field is quite narrow.

    EM5 @ISO640/1000, ~1/300s

    It must be thistle time in Sweden too Tord! These are lovely.

            The subjects were taken at "point blank", which is about 6 meters distance when using this scope with 80mm extension tubes.

            I have additional tubes but did not bring them with me on that session.

              At that distance, I don't know how you "see" the picture at all. You have a fantastic eye for a subject.
