    the Light Pyramid

    Sculpture at the Cricket ground

...a brief stop for coffee (to be added to my Costa collection of images)

    ...a field in Campbell Park

..'finding myself' at the Peace Pagoda..Willen Lake (I just had to have a go with the E-PL5 flip over screen)

    detail at the Peace Pagoda

I used the dramatic tone filter on Number 1,2,3,6 & 7

      Re: An evening in MK

I live in Staffordshire Chevvy, MK is one of the places I visit every year for work purposes.
The shopping is pretty good , all I'm interested in is John Lewis, Waterstones and Costa Coffee of course...so it ticks all my boxes. ( the Jessops is still closed there - I checked). Thanks for commenting.

A very interesting set and some nice work though that daisy shot is cracking mate.

Did you use art filters or did you the effects later?

A very nice set with two stand-outs; the daisies and costa coffee,

Thanks Guys - yes I used the art filters in camera - Dramatic Tone, Pop Art and just mono for the Costa shot. I think I ought to shoot raw and post process but its nice to get the result you want on the spot - especially if you don't intend to use the images more seriously.....not sure if you can take Raw and Art filtered jpegs at the same time...would be good.

I use art filters in camera I am not criticising you, I happen to like them.

If you have any combination format setting including RAW only you will get a Jpeg plus a RAW file it what I do to allow maximum flexibility.
