That's a great shot Chevvy, the bird has the look of determination, such a great angle too. Looking forward to seeing more of your Kites in flight.

      Re: Red Kite vi

Thank You Tom ! I am going to have a few printed acrylic mounted - I was hoping that yesterday would be my LAST shopping for Red Kites Chicken Wings & Sausages and major cooking to take their 5 am breakfast - BUT I have to find a way to get a full frontal image as they take breakkers they fly so darned fast down liek a stone from a great height and there is little in the way of "clue of drop to take"

SO, another trip shall be planned for July

Brilliant Chevvy - I can see why you are pleased with this unusual shot.
Makes all those "misses" with bird shots worthwhile.
It will look stunning on the wall! Clever Girl! 👏

I can see by the look on its face that it does not like being photographed!

          Great shot Chevvy.

Thank You Paul ! I was worried a few times when some (like this one) suddenly got REAL CLOSE and with the 300 you cannot back it off ... I nearly dropped the camera to get out of the Eating Line ... phew! lucky I did not ... or Ian would have me for Red Kite bait
