    All taken at my local reserve with E-M5 plus Canon EF 400mm f5.6 - manual focus (first 6) and Canon 7D with the same lens (last 2)..

    Most are fairly large crops, the Green Sandpiper is around 100%

    A really good days images, with my choice as the Chaffie, so much superb detail.

    I notice that although the shutter speeds are almost constant throughout, the ISO on the 7D is way higher than the E-M 5. if the light is constant, that is very impressive indeed.
    The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

      The Chiffy and Goldcrest were taken in shade on a different day when the light was poorer, also on the 7D I could dial in a smaller aperture whereas on the E-M5 I had to make do with maximum aperture as the 400 is not a native lens.
