  • Princess Nutty the Chug

Bet you think that the grumpy old fool has finally lost it looking at that title.

Whilst that might be true it does in fact refer to the subject of this playing around and experiment session. The subject is the dog of my eldest son's girl friend. She is a Chihuahua Pug cross hence a Chug. I'm not normally a small dog person and have to admit saying "what's it for" when I first saw her but after a while you realise she is a great character. She is also a great subject for a photo given her pug face.

Anyway something rather different from my normal style of image.

    cheers

    Hec
I've worked hard to be this grumpy. It hasn't been easy at times but it's worth it.

Slightly scary! Looks bigger than what she probably is!

    Nice mono conversion.

Stephen, I agree SCARY REAL SCARY

However, everyone has their own choice of K9 friend and thats all that matters really, their choice and friend

I saw this verse at the weekend and it really struck my chords

      Dogs Prayer

"Treat me kindly, my beloved friend,
for no heart in the entire world
is more grateful for your kindness
than mine. Don't be angry with me
for long, and don't lock me up as punishment.

      After all, you have
your job, your friends and your
      entertainment. I only have YOU."

it kind bought tears to my eyes ... and this morning, as every morning - OUR Huggy Henry came bounding into thee bedroom, and leapt his front paws and head across my chest, as I lay in bed and I welcomed him (as every morning) and stroked him - with the second hand too (as he pushed it with his nose to remind
me "two hands are better than one"

and I feel I ought to get another K9 as he must miss Senna more than us

I agree, as we have a Poxy Fug (it's what the breeders called the breed anyhow), which I think is a ridiculus name for a Foxy (Fox Terrier) Pug, but we love our crazy Toby, seen here, "You love me, don't you?".

Lovely lickle fellow, and nice portrait too. Until we got the Chinese Chresties we were always Working Sheep Dog people, now we wouldn't be without both.
Just for interest, Princess Bumble did her first Agility Comp at the weekend and actually got a clear round rosette. She loved every minute, even the pouring rain.
The picture tells the story, great when you have a bad memory.DW.

                  Re: Princess Nutty the Chug

My apologies for being rude and not responding but I've been away on business, Amsterdam so not too bad in reality, and got behind in many things.

Thanks for the comments but sorry to spread so much fear and alarm

She is only tiny and in fact smaller than the picture. I think it's those bulging eyes that do it

                  cheers

I hadn't spotted that. See what you mean. Possibly a film star in waiting then
