  • And It All Started So Well

    Hi Folks

So did a walk in the Langdales (Lake District) last week. Started off with a nice sunrise

Nicely lit up Crinkle Crags (where our walk went)

Got up there, weather turned, started snowing, camera back in its bag for the day.

    Thanks for looking.

Well at least you got some fantastic shots before the snow started.

      No. 3 is absolutely stunning.

      Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful landscapes, well composed and nice light! I especially like the colour gesture in the river in the first image, that reflects the colour of the sky.

Re: And It All Started So Well

Thank you for your comments. The light on the hills and the valley nearly caught me out - literally all over in a couple of minutes. By the time we finished the walk (late afternoon) the snow was right down at road level...I would have taken a picture but the pub beckoned!
