  • Song thrushes & more

Some thrushes and other birds from my recent bird photo trips. The song thrush is getting more and more scarce on my local patches so I was chuffed to get close to these two :

Thanks for looking - the thrushes were on the e5 and bigma, the rest on the e5 and 70-300

Nice sharp shots I like them. The Chaffinch looks a bit dark getting lost in the background, though it maybe my screen?

I use a tripod all the tim with the bigma, but the last 3 shots are all handheld on the 70-300

Stunning shots and to think those last 3 are hand held with the 70-300. I'm speachless, I've never got anything even close to that good with mine on a tripod let alone hand held

I love the 70-300 - its a brilliant lens, capable of so much if people give it some time.

You've got very sharp results from both lenses and wonderful pictures of these birds.
