  • The Olympic Torch finally reaches Chorley.

Well an early start saw me up and out to greet the torch as it passed through the neighbouring town of Chorley. The crowd & accompanying police were all in great spirit and cheering on the lucky torch bearers.Fabulous morning well worth getting up for.

The torch bearer getting last minute instructions.

He looked decidedly overwhelmed by it all.

Passing the flame from one bearer to the next.

I think he was waiting for it to go out.

Ah Chorley! Spent several years there with Leyland Motors. Probably the best pork pies in the world could be had in Chorley, at Reuben Marsdens!

        Oh, great documentary shots, btw!
