  • Fishing boat

Here's a set of pictures taken yesterday at Stonehaven all with E5 and either 14-35 or 35-100 lenses.
    All RAW processed in LR3.3.

A shot a man preparing his fishing boat.
This is a pretty much 100% crop from the original picture (shown), the detail is impressive. Taken with E5 and 35-100mm lens @ 100mm, f6.7.

    Comments welcome :-)

    Paul

Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

Nice colours and detail, especially the first shot cropped.

Dibnah likes the Jack Russells in that shot also!

            No 1. That is sharp.
A little work and I reckon the address on the white fishbox could be read.

Amazing amount of the detail the E-5 has captured there with the help of those lovely SHG lenses
How are you finding it now (the E-5)?

It's fine, I'm finally happy with it focussing accurately with the 14-35, it took a bit of setting up but it was worth the effort.
The quality of the photos is excellent, it a great camera :-)

Oooh, those bring back some happy memories of the few years we lived in Stonehaven. We used to visit the harbour at least once a week.

Yes it's a great place, lots of photo opportunities and 2 very nice bars too, right on the water front, I did pop into the Marine after my photo shoot for a pint and a bowl of chips, well deserved I thought :-)

                      Dear Paul,

I have been meaning to comment on these images for a while. What beautifully saturated colours, impressive advert for the E-5.

                      Cheers
