  • Hamilton`s Team need Shooting!

Well Lewis has proved himself once again today, what a nightmare though for him to lose pole position as a result of his mechanic`s making such a basic mistake!...................what a nightmare!

Barrichello would have gone past and won anyway, the tyre problem only added to a deficit, it didn't create the deficit.

Weather or not it cost him the race, it was still a very bad error!

I also think it would probably have made no difference. McLaren were furiously crunchin numbers based on fuel consumption and came to the conclusion that Hamilton could stay out one extra lap, but by the time he got the message he was already committed to pitting. If he had stayed out for an extra lap, Kovalainen would have been brought in early and so both sets of tyres were on standby. The crew must have heard that Hamilton was told he could stay out another lap but didn't realise he was going to pit, hence the confusion.

Great win for Barrichello - he thoroughly deserved it; did you hear him blubbing under his helmet on the slowing down lap? Awwww!
