Social Media (facebook et al) is 'the thing' these days, anyone who wants to be someone is filling the web with me, me, ME.
Is it killing 'the art' of photography ?
It seems that more and more 'popular' locations are becoming inundated with folk with cameras. It does not matter if they are phones, compact cameras or the whole slr gear thing, they all want 'the shot' - just like everyone else.
A blog entry I found recently (sorry, rather a long one) describes one professional photographers take on things -
https://www.paulreiffer.com/2019/07/...disrespectful/
How are others on this forum finding things, compared with a few years back ? Is it really getting worse ?
If it is getting worse, any ideas on avoiding or lessening problems for us so we can take the shot ?
Note - there has already been a similar post on the forum -
https://e-group.uk.net/forum/showthr...+photographers
The above would seem to show this is not a new problem.
