  • Distraction testing

    You're in line at a checkout in the supermarket. SWMBO is talking about something before noticing you're not paying attention. She looks in the direction you're looking and realises you're enjoying a view of a very nice ass on the woman in front of us. When questioned do you reply?

    A. Why do you think I joined this queue.

    B. What blonde? I was miles away.

    C. I followed her around the supermarket, why wouldn't I join the same queue.

    D. You could bounce a quarter/10p piece off that.

    Please note, this also works if you reverse the genders.
    It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

    My reply would be better that that!
    "Don't worry, she's not as good looking as you." (he's says to his wife 40 years older than the woman in front )

            My reply; "Okay, I drive a Ford Escort, but it doesn't stop me looking at a Ferrari." It's got me beat up more than once!

                Although I must admit to using A and D in the past.

                  My answer would be E

                  E. I might be on a diet but I can still look at the menu

                    And then there are the comeback lines:
                    A: Don't look at what you cannot afford;

                    B: Be very careful what you wish for;

                    And my favourite for some reason:
                    C: She would probably kill you off!

                        I've heard variations on that in the UK and Canada.

                              No, the holdup is caused by SWMBO searching her purse for discount vouchers.
