    Re: OM1 MKii experience days...

You have my sympathy too Walti as I got it a few years back and still get occasional flare ups. It's a really pesky disease. Hopefully there will be time for it to subside before the day at Duxford.

Mark, Walti look forward to meeting you both. Really glad you posted this thread Walti, I'd have missed it if you hadn't.
Well thanks to you too Phill as when I saw this I also applied but I've only just found the conformation email in the spam box

I hope you are on the mend Walti and I look forward to meeting you Phill and Mark on the day

Yes, me too, just have to decide which bike, lenses and painkillers to take (may need a new thread for that considering the forums collective alments)

Same here, its confirmed too. Looking forward to it. Seem's as though all we have take on the day is the camera body, lenses will be provided. Unless I have mis-understood.

                          Re: OM1 MKii experience days...

I haven't looked into this in any detail as Duxford is a long way away from Co. Durham, but I would have liked to go if a similar event was held closer to home.

I thought the whole idea was to allow owners of Olympus MFT cameras to try out the new OM-D EM1 Mk2 but it seems you have to take your own.

I think they expect you to take your normal lenses with you but will have the opportunity to try different ones you don't have!

It's a welcome to your new camera you have just spent a shed load of money on day - does take the sting out of the price a little!

Oh right, I get it. A kind of after-sales corporate hostility sort of thing.

Sounds like a nice idea but I doubt that I will be moving on the my OM-D EM-1 Mk 1 for a while yet.
