  • The Last Leg

Thank goodness The Last Leg returns to Channel 4 this evening. Just in time to cut though the cr*p in the EU debate by taking a satirical and irreverent look at the real issues of In or Out.

Yep, sounds good. Anything to not have to look at the real political cr*p.

Excellent. Just so long as they actually don't try to look at the 'real issues'!
That would be the most tedious episode they've ever made.

          As an independent observer:

In spite of the LEAVE option leading by 10 points in the polls (reported this week) I still think that come polling day next week, UK may actually vote to REMAIN - like the Scots at last year's referendum.

Oh, he likes manhole covers. He'd love a walk around Harare - some of the covers are still City of Salisbury - both manhole covers and symbols is imperialist aggression.

I think Corbin argued the case to remain better than anyone else I have seen so far. He gave positive reasons to stay rather than the general negative position of reason to not leave. He even gave good reason why he, as a euro-skeptic etc., wants to remain.

Still better off out, in my opinion & it's interesting that they have had to re-launch the remain campaign today, think the PM and his cronies are feeling the pressure.

The only person who has convinced me so far is William Haig, who provided more cogent arguments for staying than any others that I have heard.

But I am still not persuaded.

CONGRATULATIONS UK for having the courage to go it alone.

I am sure that in the long run Brit will be much better off.

This is one prediction that I was glad to get wrong.

I dunno mate. As much as my British father was so put out at being treated like a foreigner in Australia once the UK joined the common market (I think I have that right?), I'm not so sure this will be the best move now. Time will tell, I guess.

This isn't a place or time to get political, but sticking to photography it'll be interesting to see the effects on equipment prices in the short and medium term in what is currently called the UK. I hope everyone bought their dream kit last week...

                              Precisely, Jim.

Perhaps the doc would think the Lounge appropriate for political comment had the vote gone the other way.
