      Re: Moto GP ?

I don't have any shots of me racing anymore, they got lost in one of my many moves.

But here's me riding Malcolm Newell's Phasar in the early 80's.

It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

Agreed, an unfair last corner lunge with for a position that wasn't rightfully his.
He needs to calm down just a bit and there were other occasions in that race where we could have easily taken Lorenzo out had luck not been on his side.

Well done to Pedrosa though a good result as was Crutchlow's after a couple of falls in practice and qualifying.

Racing is Racing and risk taking BUT sometimes it gets a little too "animal" and a "dog will eat a dog".

I forget his name, who died last year and was sooo daring ? Marco ? with BIG hair

Pedrosa, Rossi, Lorenzo are ALL of the RISK ALL SCHOOL

ps "Riding orf, ones' opponent ..." is a tactic in Polo on horseback, not motorbikes

Another good result for Cal Crutchlow beating both factory Yamahas.

Also nice to see the factory Ducatis being more than mobile chicanes for a change.

Great result for Cal Crutchlow and a great race all-round.
At one point I thought he was even within a shout of the win but Dovi held him up enough to make that a practical impossibility (unless Pedrosa had a moment).
                Good stuff.

                      Re: Moto GP ?

Cal Crutchlow continues to demonstrate he's top contender for a factory ride next season, second on the grid for tomorrow's Catalunya GP ahead of Lorenzo and behind Pedrosa's storming 1minute 40.893.
                      Will you be watching?

I've been impressed with Crutchlow all season.

The race is on live tomorrow morning for us starting at 7:45.

                            Re: Moto GP ?

Crutchlow crashed out, as did quite a few others so it was an all Spanish top three.

I think this could be Pedrosa's year as it sounds like the Yamaha teams are going through their engine allocation a lot faster than Honda are.

It was a shame he crashed out but as you say he wasn't alone.
Bradley Smith (with a mangled little finger) did well with his sixth place beating Dovi on the factory Ducati.
