Just noticed the last couple of days that when I have come on there has only 1-3 news posts yet when I check the forums there are a large number which have been posted since my last visit.

First thing to check is the 'last visited' time near the top right. You haven't installed the Tapatalk app on a phone / tablet have you? -

As a default it will check for new forum messages every 4 hours, so when you then access via the Web, the forum will only show New messages since you last connected, which will be when Tapatalk connected, and not you.
Either set it to longer, use Tapatalk exclusively to view the forum, or turn off the Notifications in its Settings.Comment
