  • Wednesday oldies music question

Just a quickie for us oldies.

    What was Bert Jones' ailment?
What did his wife have to say about it?
What does it have to do with an indolent weekend?

Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

And here is another one from the same era:

Who have closed down their shop?
    Did they want to?
    What did they sell?
Look, I'm an old man. I shouldn't be expected to put up with this.

and Pressed Rat's collection of dog legs and feet
          Loved Cream in those days.

                  Yes. Absolutely. Another Gold star.

BTW. I once had a pint of Pressed Rat and Warthog at the local Ale Festival. This proved to be a mistake...

Ah, I must have had a misspent youth - listening to tracks like "Corporal Clegg" and "Tales of Brave Ulysses"

Unfortunately I never owned a copy of "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake" of glorious memory.

                        Still, Mustn't Grumble..

"Corporal Clegg" ahhh, A saucer full of secrets oft overlooked but much loved album.
The Small Faces sometimes don't get the recognition they deserve.

Would this be a popular music thread?
