Re: Blocking
mlinehan's account has now been closed. It's a real shame as he started off being an interesting and engaging member of the site. Looking at what he has produced on Flickr he is also clearly a talented photographer, but recent behaviour and a lack of response to a warning meant it was inevitable that his participation here had to be ended.

Re: Blocking
I must admit over the past few days I have not been posting as I do have a Scottish temper and may have done myself no good had I responded to some posts, especially one reply to Chevvyf1.However now that normal service has been resumed we can all do what we do best, and get on with enjoying this forum.
Cheers Iain

Alphaism is
a) a sexual practise in a magic cult pioneered around the end of Prohibition in the United States, it requires you not to have sex but to read a chapter from the cult founders book every time you have the 'urge'.
b) a philosophical movement in the Second Federation of the Orions Arm, something apparently to do with Star Trek.
c) a method of training dogs which involves biting them on the back of the neck and forcing them into submission, in the vague hope that it will stop them eating your children.
Of course it could mean undue respect to those that have been around e-group a long time, but that's a boring guess - though I'm all in favour of it happening.
Oh well, the beer is all gone, time for Norma Waterson to sing me to sleep.
