  • My own Photography book

    Hi All,

Just been looking around Photobox and noticed I could get a book made of my shots, think its called a style book or something.

However the design is very limited from what I've seen. Does anyone know of an online service that will print me a paperback book that I can design myself.

Thinking about putting together a book full of tonemapped pictures of some of the old sites I've been too for a laugh. Hey maybe someone may be a copy.

    Cheers
    Garrie

Most of the photo books have a template driven design where you basically stick your photos and captions in place holders.

If you want to design a more complex layout and can save your design as a pdf, you could use LuLu.com. You can also set a price and sell copies on demand from their site.

Can't remember if you're an Apple Mac user? If so, try iPhoto or Aperture. You can customise Aperture's books quite a bit, see:

If you do get around to putting one together, I for one would be interested in seeing it.
