Wanted: Sigma Prime Lens....either 30mm or 50mm

Hi all,

I'm hoping to pick up one of the following lenses:

Sigma 30mm f1.4

or

Sigma 50mm f1.4

I missed one that was for sale last week After the recent price increases I don't really want to buy from a shop.

The 50mm F1.4 is not available in 4/3 fit... according to Sigma UK they have no knowledge of it being manufactured yet, and are unsure if it ever will be.

Oh, yes you're right! No wonder I was struggling to find somewhere that sells one.

Yeh, that's how I found out about it. But I'm not sure how long that page has been there.
I've still not found anywhere selling it.

That page is quite reliable in terms of updates. The info for e620 was up hours after the announcement from Olympus.

Funny guys at Sigma UK. Apparently the lens is already in stock at some German dealers. Lowest price is 430 EURO.

Yeh I've heard the PanaLeica is much better. And If I had the money for it, I would have that one.

I've seen the 50mm in stock in a couple of UK online stores now. I think warehouse express and somewhere else. Finally! Places are starting to stock it.

Still, due to budget, I'm really hoping to get a 2nd hand one
