        I find 35mm a nice focal length for a standard on 4/3.
        It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.

          Yes indeed a 70mm equivalent makes a great short tele/portrait lens. I prefer a bit wider as a standard lens though, 40mm on 35mm cameras or 20mm on my E-M5.

            I've never been a moderate wide angle guy. My OM 28mm and 35mm are almost mint despite being decades old. My OM 24mm on the other hand looks like it's been in a tumble dryer with some gravel. In my film days my standard was a 90mm macro, my most used lenses the 24mm and a 600mm.

              I love the 24mm as well. 24/40/85 is my usual combination.

                My HG and SHG glass is gathering dust. My current kit is 8/14/35/85 manual focus primes. I've got a wedding to shoot in 8 days and can't decide what glass to use.
