I really liked it when Hasselblad brought out their 400Mp camera via sensor shifting techniques.

The exposures took about 5 minutes, with 20 minutes writing to the card (one picture per card) and a CRAY computer to process the RAW file down to a jpg suitable for posting on Facebook...
