    Well, that's a question... we (CAA and BGA - British Gliding Association) are currently quite a long way into a transition to the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulation system. That harmonises regulation across Europe. So in fact, I could continue with a German registration and German ARC (Airworthiness Review Certificate). The downside is that is need to take it to Germany for its aurworthiness inspection.

    However, after Brexit, the CAA and BGA will cease to be approved EASA organisations - so anything they have done (and will do in the future) has been declared null and void by the EU. That's the reason why there's so much news about aviation disruption in the media.

    So, yes - I'll re register it over here.

      Well, it's quite an active club with both gliding and power flying. It might an interesting location. This year they were supposed to be hosting a big balloon festival too, but the weather didn't play ball.
