The update is for Windows only not Mac.....?

C'mon Oly finger out.

Is there any way of hiding the film strip so I can get a decent size image to edit?

I have the thumbnails down the side & the folders etc (file location) flip in & out with the side arrow. Also, clicking on the upper right 'cog' for settings, in Display there is the option to not show the Menu bar (& Status bar). For the most part it may not be needed. I haven't found a shortcut way to show it (yet) other than going back to settings when needed. Also, more tools can be added to the Tool bar when the Menu bar is not enabled.

Another way to enlarge the image you're working on is to the select the 4th layout option across (above the image) which opens its own window. It is relatively small until adjusting it to the desired size which can be as large as you want (ideal if using a second display).
