  • HELP! Windows 7 / Lightroom 3

I have installed lightroom 3 on to my laptop running under Windows 7.

My problem is that every time I connect my external hard drive to the laptop Lightroom boots up automatically - I have to wait for it to go through the boot up process and then cancel the program - before being able to laod CS5 for example.

It doesn't happen on my Desktop also using Windows 7 Any one know how I can stop it doing this ? Is there a setting somewhere in LR that I can switch off ?

As usual, all help gratefully accepted,so thanks in advance
    Benedict

Right click on the drive and goto open autoplay, a window should then come up and then right at the bottom you will see a link to view autoplay options in control panel

Normally the problem is mixed content, it will be set to open lightroom, just change this to anther suitable option or off altogether

    Hope this helps
