Has anyone used this lens, and is it as good as most reviewers rate it ?

I only used it with an E500 and E3, never with m43rds. Was my favourite lens when I had it. Great IQ too. Sometimes wish I still had it but with the MMF3 it becomes rather large.

It's a lovely lens that also does a great job close up too. Difficult to describe really but it has a lovely quality to its images.

Another positive vote for it. Lovely lens, a bit hefty but not excessively.

Thanks for all of your positive remarks, have bitten the bullet and ordered one.Looking forward to it's arrival now. This is for the E-1 and E-3, size doesn't matter so much on a tripod

One advantage over the 7-14 is it takes filters without needing a special filter holder and huge filters.
It's the image that's important, not the tools used to make it.
