December's CHALLENGE
The topic to inspire your creative juices this month is BOXES Please don't forget to vote on November's LEAVES challenge and please re-vote if you already did but before the recent forum upgrade.
Wish I'd seen this thread earlier last week; I've bought 2 Hama CFII cards, 1 x 4Gb & 1 x 8Gb, which are completely unsuitable. :/
I now have the Sandisks on order.
I think perhaps they might work OK as the specification for those CF cards is - [Suitable for terminal devices with CompactFlash type I & II slot.] (but make sure the camera is at Firmware 1.2) which is what the E410 takes as seen in the E410 Manual, page 119.
Recording
Memory : CF card (Compatible with Type I and II)
If you have also ordered the Sandisk CF cards then you should be OK with them anyhow.

I fiddle with violins (when I'm not fiddling with a camera).

I checked my firmware on Friday last, & it reported up-to-date ... don't know how reliable the firmware updater is these days??

My SanDisk has arrivd, & works first time! Excellent.
So ... 1 x 4Gb Hama & 1 x 8Gb Hama CF cards to be listed on the woks noticeboard.
That's good news! I assume you formatted the card in the camera before using it?
I should power up my (son's now) E410 & take some shots with it. It did produce some nice detail (actually more than my E520, I think because of the stronger AA filter in the latter).
Now all we need is to see your great photos.

With the 3x2Gb M+, the 1x2Gb M, the 1x1Gb H & this 4Gb CF card, I don't think I'll need to buy storage for a while.
Now to getting back to photography in a way like never before.
