    But have they improved the card door, its the E-400 weak point in my mind, had one fail and now a bit edgy with it!

    But if it has the E-3 chip then maybe

      I have a nasty feeling that the E400 won't fetch much money. However, with a little concerted effort here, maybe we can raise its status to "classic" somehow.. ;-)

      I shall keep mine, its a great little camera. For the moment I am more tempted by a E510 than the 420.

        The E-510 does have IS, of course, plus more external controls and a bigger battery and grip. It's still very compact by DSLR standards, though and it's heavily discounted at the moment. On the other hand, it does seem logical that a 520 will announced reasonably soon...
