I like what I see, be good to have a play with one and see how it handles, I do find I use the rear screen more and more with live view so guess that is a natural trend although maybe not so good in bright sunlight.
Well, it looks good. But I'm glad I didn't wait, and bought the G1 instead. I NEED a "real" viewfinder for my eyes sake. The top-mounted accessory one won't allow you to focus, or indeed frame with any degree of accuracy.
But I'm sure it will sell well, and I look forward to more m43 lenses.

Oh dear, cat amongst the pigeons* time.. I was supposed to be saving for a E620 body. Nice small discreet camera with bells and whistles.
Now along comes this item.. Looks great, classy, discreet and with bells and whistles. Its quite a stealth item, looks like a P+S but can sport yer monster lens if needed
So - will it really AF with my old 11-22mm, 50mm macro, kit lenses (albeit slowly)? Is it nice and quiet??
I am quite tempted - particularly if the prices fall in 6 months.. I am just worried that I have to use the screen as there is no EVF, as I am long sighted, so I would need my reading glasses to use the camera (!)

The built-in video is a turn-off for me - if I was interested in video surely I'd own a video camera. Still, I suppose I'm a minority traditionalist and "they" know what they're doing (sigh).

With respect to video this is a much more logical camera to fit it to than say the E-620, I don't see the logic on a conventional SLR but it doesn't hurt on this one and you never know when it may be of use.

Yes, they'd certainly not be able to have HD Video with a card as slow as the xD and not having it would look bereft in the face of the high-end compacts too, it's just a handy thing to have at no penalty other than space on the memory card.
To me, two issues, both surely avoidable, are the lack of built-in flash and it really ought to have had a 460k LCD. A flash would be so handy for a camera like that, plus the hi-res LCD is great compensation for not having an EVF (and for viewing all that HD video!). For a quality item like the PEN, they seem strange omissions when everything else seems spot on.
My craving to get one has abated, a good thing for my bank balance, my D-LUX 4 is back in favour. I was convinced the PEN was going to be the perfect carry-everywhere/no-gubbins/SLR-level IQ camera, especially for a 4/3 user. Hmmm.
Overpriced IMHO. Still, their research obviously believes there's enough of a market to make it economic. It may do well in the Japanese/ eastern market, but unless someone decides it's a key fashion accessory I can't see it selling outside the enthusiast sector in Europe or the US. Especially without a built-in flash. Olympus may have shot themselves in the foot... again.
The lack of a viewfinder knocks it on the head for me. I like Live View and use it when necessary, but I wouldn't want to be tied to it. A bolt-on defeats the object of a small body IMHO.
