    It would be good to be able to use the 40-150 Pro as a 80-300 F5.6 on occasions. More versatile (though slower) than the 300 F4 and lighter on the wallet and arms!
    I would expect it to be similar to using the old 50-200 + EC14 (a very pleasing kit).

    Hope this happens.

      Yes, a x2 TC for the 40-150mm PRO may well find its way into my bag. The 300 F/4 PRO is just too specialised for me.
