    I got a Dell XPS 15 i7 last year from the Dell outlet shop. If you watch for offers you can get substantial discounts from them.

      I use a Dell Ultrasharp 2414 - excellent performance,and the screen comes with a calibration certificate and a three-year warranty.

        I use a Dell Ultrasharp 2818, can't fault it. As ajwh says, great performance, calibrated and great warranty.

          I've just got a BenQ SW2700PT monitor. Capable of 99% Adobe RGB colour gamut, well priced, and comes with a hood! Lovely quality...

          You will always have problems with a laptop screen as you cannot control the angle at which you are viewing it. Even a modest external monitor will give more consistent results.
