    You could use your phone in conjunction with the Olympus Image Share app using Wi-FI?

    Otherwise, yes, there are quite a few alternatives - do you have any particular scenario in mind?

      Reading this reminded me that before we went on holiday I bought but haven’t even opened yet, a Neewer NW60 E3 wireless remote. I should perhaps open it and play with it I guess.

        Thanks for these. In reply to Ian - I'sd want to set up my camera to picture individual birds at the feeding 'station' in our garden. I can see it from a window of the house so want to fire the shutter as and when. I'd be approximately 20 yards from the camera.

          Your phone should be able to do that and you would see what the camera is seeing. The distance might be an issue, but it's worth a try.
