Thank you for your patience this morning. TapaTalk access has been restored.
I'd like to be able to achieve some really good photos (just up to A4 size methinks). Can anyone recommend a printer? Also If there is an all in one printer that will also produce very good results, so much the better.
Thanks
Graham
I have used epson for a long while but after suffering from excessive ink blocking on my last a 2400- I decide to change and went to Cannon for the 9500. I find it a wee bit slow but otherwise fine, its very quiet as well compared to the Epson.
I've gone over to Canon for my two main printers, but I must admit that my only remaining Epson - which I keep 'cos it's a multi-function - seems to have got over the head-blocking problems. It's a SX600FW.

I have just brought one of these [ame="http://www.amazon.co.uk/Canon-2868B008AA-PIXMA-iP3600-Printer/dp/B001EO6Z2S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313281476&sr=8-1"]Amazon[/ame] after asking a similar question a few weeks ago myself. It's just a printer nothing else, takes 5 ink cartridges and i have been totally blown by the quality of the prints. Though it really pays to use good quality paper and ink. I dont know if this is the same for all canon printers but i had a nice surprise when i opened the box, USB cable included a pack of paper 5 sheets and 10 canon ink cartridges.
Having been an Epson user for some time I eventually went over to Canon because of head blocking and am astonished at the quality of the results which are achievable even with non-Canon inks and paper.
I tend to use a colour printer quite a lot for non-photographs - printing off web pages etc.. Because of this I get through quite a lot of ink. This was no problem with my Epson (which has just packed up) because I'd got a continuous inking system fitted.
Can a continuous inking system be fitted to any of the Canon printers?

Thanks for the advice, A Canon PIXMA iP3600 Printer eh. The reviews of this printer were very good back in 2009, and I'm sure it still produces the goods. But has anyone any info on what its Canon equivalent (or better) of today's printers would be?
Thanks
